The Co-op Housing Federation of Canada (CHF) is the organized voice of the Canadian co-operative housing movement. Founded in 1968, CHF Canada exists to unite, represent and serve the community of housing co-operatives across Canada and member organizations that support their operation and development.

On tonight’s show we have Scott Jackson, Program Manager for National Communications at the Co-op Housing Federation of Canada since 2009, on the Board of Directors for Rooftops Canada since 2012, and previous programmer on Co-op Radio!

He talks to us about the history and current state of co-op housing in Canada, top concerns for the movement right now (aging infrastructure, aging demographics, promotion of co-op movement, etc.), and a more international look at housing co-ops around the world.
