Mornington Communications Co-operative

Mornington has been serving rural residents in Perth County, Ontario, since 1919. It began as a municipal telephone system using operators and party lines. In 1964 direct dial technology came on board and in 1994, Mornington Municipal Telephone System became Mornington Communications Co-operative.

With a head office in Milverton and satellite offices in Stratford, Wellesley and Drayton, Mornington puts customer service first and has also been recognized as a living wage employer.

This co-op continues to grow and find new telecom solutions for its members and subscribers with everything from digital TV, high-speed internet, home and cellular phone services and home and business security on offer. It also gives back to local communities through supporting a variety of projects and scholarships for youth.

General Manager Ken Naylor shares the proud story of Mornington and what’s on the horizon in this interview. Have a listen.
