Renewable energy projects have been going on here in Vancouver for a number of years, thanks to the Vancouver Renewable Energy Co-operative, VREC.
Vancouver Renewable Energy sells, installs and provides consulting services for renewable energy systems. It specializes in designing and installing solar electricity, solar hot water, solar pool heating, and wind energy. The systems they have installed have, in fact, generated over 500,000 kWh of clean power and prevented over 38,000 kg of greenhouse gases.
In this interview we talked with Rob Baxter of the Vancouver Renewable Energy.
